New York High School Basketball - Westmoreland ripped by Waterville

The Waterville Indians basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Westmoreland Bulldogs to 43 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cooperstown for a Section 3 Center State III contest on Friday, January 27. Waterville will meet a Hawkeyes team coming off a 55-42 league loss to Sauquoit Valley (Sauquoit, NY). The Hawkeyes record now stands at 5-9.
The Bulldogs (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Markham (West Winfield, NY). The Mustangs enter the Section 3 Center State III contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Mt. Markham triumphed over Sherburne-Earlville (Sherburne, NY), 77-39, in a league contest.
