Zane Trace Pioneers (Chillicothe, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Westfall Mustangs (Williamsport, OH), 65-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Zane Trace upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Pioneers host Piketon (Piketon, OH) to play the Redstreaks in a Scioto Valley bout on Saturday, January 28. The Redstreaks go into the bout with a record of 5-10. Piketon lost 57-53 in their recent league bout against Southeastern (Chillicothe, OH)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Paint Valley Bearcats (Bainbridge, OH) in a Scioto Valley bout, on Saturday, January 28. Westfall will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 64-58 league win over Unioto (Chillicothe, OH).
