The Gateway Olympians basketball team (Aurora, CO), was toppled 51-43 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Adams City Eagles (Commerce City, CO)
The Eagles now possess a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thornton for a battle on Thursday, January 26. Adams City will confront a Trojans team coming off a 47-29 league loss to Skyview (Thornton, CO). The Trojans record now stands at 3-8.
The Olympians (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Far Northeast Warriors (Denver, CO). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Far Northeast Warriors ran past Colorado Academy (Denver, CO), 59-37, in a non-league contest.
