El Cerrito Gauchos (El Cerrito, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hercules Titans (Hercules, CA), 53-27 in a league bout.

With the win, El Cerrito upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Gauchos host Bethel (Vallejo, CA) to play the Jaguars in a bout on Saturday, January 28. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Bethel lost 44-16 in their recent league bout against Benicia (Benicia, CA)

Next up, the Titans play the Hayward Farmers (Hayward, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Hercules will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Farmers go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 51-44 league loss to San Lorenzo (San Lorenzo, CA).
