The Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) basketball felled the visiting Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM), 64-51 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Scorpions (16-0) will now prepare for their test against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears go into the non-league test with a 11-2 record. In their last test, La Cueva thwarted Sandia (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Golden Eagles now own a 10-3 record. They play next when they host West Mesa for a non-league test on Saturday, January 28. Eldorado will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 53-48 non-league loss to Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-3.
