The AHSTW Vikings basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Missouri Valley Big Reds to 45 in the Vikings league victory on Tuesday.

The Vikings now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Logan-Magnolia for a Western Iowa contest on Friday, January 27. AHSTW will battle a Panthers team coming off a 47-30 league loss to Underwood (Underwood, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 12-4.

The Big Reds (1-14) will now prepare for their contest against Tri-Center (Neola, IA). The Trojans come into the Western Iowa contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Tri-Center was defeated by Treynor (Treynor, IA), 65-26, in a league contest.
