In Tuesday's league outing, the Albany Academy for Girls Bears (Albany, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Cohoes Tigers (Cohoes, NY), by a margin of 69-23.

The Bears (15-0) will now prepare for their outing against Cobleskill-Richmondville (Cobleskill, NY). The Bulldogs go into the Section 2 Colonial outing with a 4-9 record. In their last outing, Cobleskill-Richmondville was trounced by Academy of the Holy Names (Albany, NY), 42-37, in a league outing.

The Tigers now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they host Catholic Central for a Section 2 Colonial outing on Thursday, January 26. Cohoes will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 57-30 league win over Schalmont (Schenectady, NY). The Crusaders record now stands at 12-2.
