Fillmore Eagles (Fillmore, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Allegany-Limestone Gators (Allegany, NY), 37-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fillmore upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Eagles host Genesee Valley (Belmont, NY) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Monday, January 30. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 2-1.

Next up, the Gators clash with the Southwestern Trojans (Jamestown, NY) in a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - West I bout, on Thursday, January 26. Allegany-Limestone will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 68-54 non-league loss to Panama (Panama, NY).
