The Alverno Heights Academy Jaguars basketball team (Sierra Madre, CA), was nudged 29-25 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Pomona Catholic Pacers (Pomona, CA)

The Pacers now possess a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sacred Heart of Jesus for a Soledad battle on Thursday, January 26. Pomona Catholic will confront a Comets team coming off a 59-29 league win over Holy Family (Glendale, CA). The Comets record now stands at 8-10.

The Jaguars (3-10) will now prepare for their battle against Ramona Convent (Alhambra, CA). The Tigers come into the Soledad battle with a 18-6 record.
