Geneva Panthers (Geneva, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Andalusia Bulldogs (Andalusia, AL), 47-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Geneva upgrades its record to 22-3 on the season. The Panthers host Slocomb (Slocomb, AL) to play the Red Tops in a 4A Area 3 bout on Friday, January 27. The Red Tops go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Slocomb lost 63-16 in their recent league bout against Geneva (Geneva, AL)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Opp Bobcats (Opp, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Andalusia will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 46-22 league win over Daleville (Daleville, AL).
