The Highland Christian Academy EAGLES basketball team (Valdosta, GA), was nudged 41-40 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Baker County Bears (Newton, GA)
The Bears now possess a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westwood for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 28.
The EAGLES (4-9) will now prepare for their battle against Fullington Academy (Pinehurst, GA). The Trojans come into the GIAA A Region 3 battle with a 12-6 record. In their last battle, Fullington Academy edged Furlow Charter School (Americus, GA), 43-7, in a non-league battle.
