The Berrien Rebels (Nashville, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Jeff Davis Yellowjackets (Hazlehurst, GA), 72-29 in Tuesday's league test.
The Rebels (15-5) will now prepare for their test against Cook (Adel, GA). The Hornets go into the AA Region 1 test with a 5-12 record.
The Yellowjackets now own a 2-15 record. They play next when they host Fitzgerald for a AA Region 1 test on Friday, January 27. Jeff Davis will encounter a Purple Hurricane squad coming off a 56-47 league win over Sumter County (Americus, GA). The Purple Hurricane record now stands at 10-8.
