Swainsboro Tigers (Swainsboro, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bleckley County Royals (Cochran, GA), 56-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Swainsboro upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Dublin (Dublin, GA) to play the Fighting Irish in a A D1 Region 2 bout on Friday, January 27. The Fighting Irish go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Dublin won 46-43 in their recent league bout against East Laurens (East Dublin, GA)

Next up, the Royals play the Jefferson County Warriors (Louisville, GA) in a A D1 Region 2 bout, on Friday, January 27. Bleckley County will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 3-12 record after their 65-40 league loss to Swainsboro (Swainsboro, GA).
