Georgia High School Basketball - Brantley County trounces Toombs County

The Brantley County Herons (Nahunta, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA), 65-14 in Tuesday's league test.
The Herons (12-7) will now prepare for their test against Vidalia (Vidalia, GA). The Indians go into the AA Region 3 test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Vidalia walloped Pierce County (Blackshear, GA), 45-30, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-14 record. They play next when they travel to Metter for a non-league test on Friday, January 27. Toombs County will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 70-24 league loss to Woodville-Tompkins (Savannah, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-13.
