The Hawley Nuggets (Hawley, MN) basketball knocked off the host Breckenridge Cowboys (Breckenridge, MN), 66-57 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Nuggets (12-5) will now prepare for their test against Frazee (Frazee, MN). The Hornets go into the AA Section 8 test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, Frazee went down by Perham (Perham, MN), 70-43, in a league test.
The Cowboys now own a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Barnesville for a non-league test on Friday, January 27. Breckenridge will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 43-35 league win over Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Glyndon, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 6-8.
