In Tuesday's league outing, the Broad Run Spartans (Ashburn, VA) basketball squad felled the host Loudoun County Captains (Leesburg, VA), by a margin of 52-35.

The Spartans (9-8) will now prepare for their outing against Heritage (Leesburg, VA). The Pride go into the Dulles outing with a 12-5 record. In their last outing, Heritage was beaten by Loudoun Valley (Purcellville, VA), 68-55, in a league outing.

The Captains now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Lightridge for a Dulles outing on Wednesday, January 25. Loudoun County will encounter a Bolts squad coming off a 60-43 league win over Park View (Sterling, VA). The Bolts record now stands at 8-9.
