California School for the Deaf Eagles (Fremont, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Making Waves Academy Marlins (Richmond, CA), 41-20 in a league bout.

With the win, California School for the Deaf upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Eagles host California Crosspoint (Hayward, CA) to clash with the Rams in a Bay Counties - General bout on Thursday, January 26. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 5-6. California Crosspoint lost 42-26 in their recent league bout against Fremont Christian (Fremont, CA)

Next up, the Marlins clash with the Oakland Military Institute Grizzlies (Oakland, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Making Waves Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 55-9 non-league loss to Redwood Christian (San Lorenzo, CA).
