Landmark Christian War Eagles (Fairburn, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Callaway Cavaliers (Hogansville, GA), 54-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Landmark Christian upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The War Eagles host Eagle's Landing Christian Academy (McDonough, GA) to clash with the Chargers in a AA Region 5 bout on Friday, January 27. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Eagle's Landing Christian Academy won 51-31 in their recent league bout against Redan (Stone Mountain, GA)

Next up, the Cavaliers clash with the Elite Scholars Academy Royal Knights (Jonesboro, GA) in a AA Region 5 bout, on Friday, January 27. Callaway will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Royal Knights go into the bout with a 5-11 record after their 42-40 league win over McNair (Atlanta, GA).
