The Chambersburg Trojans basketball team scored 39 points and held the visiting Carlisle Thundering Herd to 31 in the Trojans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Dauphin East for a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth contest on Friday, January 27. Chambersburg will meet a Panthers team coming off a 63-35 league loss to Central Dauphin (Harrisburg, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-8.

The Thundering Herd (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against State College (State College, PA). The Little Lions enter the Mid-Penn - Commonwealth contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, State College was outscored by Cumberland Valley (Mechanicsburg, PA), 59-53, in a league contest.
