Utah High School Basketball - Cedar can't hold off Hurricane

January 24, 2023: Cedar City, UT 84720

The Hurricane Tigers basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the host Cedar Reds to 33 in the Tigers league victory on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dixie for a 4A Region 10 contest on Thursday, January 26. Hurricane will battle a Flyers team coming off a 47-31 league loss to Crimson Cliffs (Washington, UT). The Flyers record now stands at 10-6.

The Reds (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Desert Hills (St. George, UT). The Thunder come into the 4A Region 10 contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Desert Hills was nudged by Pine View (St. George, UT), 53-44, in a league contest.
