The Hillsboro Burros basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Centennial Cougars to 22 in the Burros league triumph on Tuesday.
The Burros now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin for a 4A District 11 contest on Friday, January 27. Hillsboro will battle a Admirals team coming off a 62-51 league win over Overton (Nashville, TN). The Admirals record now stands at 4-16.
The Cougars (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Brentwood (Brentwood, TN). The Bruins enter the 4A District 11 contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, Brentwood triumphed over Ravenwood (Brentwood, TN), 81-45, in a league contest.
