The West Fork Warhawks (Sheffield, IA) basketball felled the visiting Central Springs Panthers (Manly, IA), 62-44 in Tuesday's league test.
The Warhawks (15-0) will now prepare for their test against St. Ansgar (St. Ansgar, IA). The Saints go into the Corn Bowl bout with a 12-5 record. In their last bout, St. Ansgar topped Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA), 59-21, in a league bout.
Next up, the Panthers play the Rockford Warriors (Rockford, IA) in a Corn Bowl bout, on Friday, January 27. Central Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 1-13 record after their 60-21 non-league loss to Newman Catholic (Mason City, IA).
