The Rutland Hurricanes basketball team (Macon, GA), was overwhelmed 71-14 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Central Chargers (Macon, GA)
The Chargers now possess a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kendrick for a AA Region 2 battle on Friday, January 27. Central will confront a Cherokees team coming off a 70-27 league loss to Spencer (Columbus, GA). The Cherokees record now stands at 3-15.
The Hurricanes (1-16) will now prepare for their battle against Spencer (Columbus, GA). The Greenwave come into the AA Region 2 battle with a 10-7 record. In their last battle, Spencer trounced Kendrick (Columbus, GA), 70-27, in a league battle.
