Texas High School Basketball - Chaparral knocked off by Shoemaker

The Shoemaker Wolves basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Chaparral Bobcats to 37 in the Wolves league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wolves now sport a 20-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Killeen for a 5A Region III District 22 contest on Friday, January 27. Shoemaker will meet a Kangaroos team coming off a 53-52 league loss to Waco (Waco, TX). The Kangaroos record now stands at 12-14.
The Bobcats (13-12) will now prepare for their contest against Ellison (Killeen, TX). The Eagles enter the 5A Region III District 22 contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Ellison ran past Waco (Waco, TX), 52-31, in a league contest.
