Illinois High School Basketball - Ida Crown Jewish Academy thwarts Christ the King

The Ida Crown Jewish Academy Aces (Chicago, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Christ the King Gladiators (Chicago, IL), 55-42 in Tuesday's league test.

The Aces (10-2) will now prepare for their test against North Shore Country Day (Winnetka, IL). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 13-5 record. In their last test, North Shore Country Day notched a victory over Francis W. Parker (Chicago, IL), 52-20, in a league test.

The Gladiators now own a 15-10 record. They play next when they travel to Ellison for a test on Thursday, January 26. Christ the King will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 0-0 league Providence-St. Mel (Chicago, IL). The Lions record now stands at 0-3.
