In Tuesday's league outing, the Churchill Bulldogs (Potomac, MD) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Whitman Vikings (Bethesda, MD), by a count of 56-20.

The Bulldogs (11-2) will now prepare for their outing against Northwood (Silver Spring, MD). The Gladiators go into the Montgomery County - 4A East outing with a 2-10 record. In their last outing, Northwood was crushed by Springbrook (Silver Spring, MD), 48-20, in a league outing.

The Vikings now hold a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Quince Orchard for a non-league outing on Friday, January 27. Whitman will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 46-37 non-league win over Einstein (Kensington, MD). The Cougars record now stands at 10-5.
