The Clarke Indians (Osceola, IA) basketball nipped the host Davis County Mustangs (Bloomfield, IA), 63-58 in Tuesday's league test.
The Indians (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Centerville (Centerville, IA). The Big Reds/Redettes go into the South Central test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Centerville got by Knoxville (Knoxville, IA), 43-40, in a league test.
The Mustangs now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they host Pekin for a non-league test on Thursday, January 26. Davis County will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 32-29 non-league loss to Cardinal (Eldon, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-16.
