Vail Christian Saints (Edwards, CO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Clear Creek Golddiggers (Evergreen, CO), 48-6 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Vail Christian upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Saints host Plateau Valley (Collbran, CO) to play the Cowboys in a 2A/1A Western Slope bout on Saturday, January 28. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 6-4.

Next up, the Golddiggers play the Dawson School Mustangs (Lafayette, CO) in a 3A/2A/1A Mile High bout, on Thursday, January 26. Clear Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 49-19 league loss to Gilpin County (Black Hawk, CO).
