The Eagles enter the game with a 10-8 record after their 74-57 non-league loss to Hilton Head Christian Academy (Hilton Head Island, SC).

With the defeat, Jefferson Davis Academy moves to 3-4 on the year. The Raiders travel to Calhoun Academy (St. Matthews, SC) to face the Cavaliers in a non-league game on Monday, January 30. The Cavaliers enter the game with a record of 7-11. Calhoun Academy lost 48-40 in their recent league game against Clarendon Hall (Summerton, SC)
