Salem Academy Crusaders (Salem, OR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Colton Vikings (Colton, OR), 32-21 in a league bout.

With the victory, Salem Academy upgrades its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Kennedy (Mt. Angel, OR) to play the Trojans in a 2A Tri-River bout on Thursday, January 26. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 3-13.

Next up, the Vikings play the Blanchet Catholic Cavaliers (Salem, OR) in a 2A Tri-River bout, on Thursday, January 26. Colton will attempt to upgrade on its 15-3 season record. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a 4-11 record after their 59-55 league loss to Regis (Stayton, OR).
