Texas High School Basketball - Lone Oak knocked off by Commerce

The Commerce Tigers basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Lone Oak Buffaloes to 32 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 16-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chisum for a 3A Region II District 12 contest on Friday, January 27. Commerce will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 67-53 league loss to Rains (Emory, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-17.
The Buffaloes (10-10) will now prepare for their contest against Edgewood (Edgewood, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 3A Region II District 12 contest with a 22-7 record. In their last contest, Edgewood ran past Prairiland (Pattonville, TX), 71-13, in a league contest.
