North Carolina High School Basketball - Leadership Academy trounces Cornerstone Charter

The Leadership Academy Falcons (Kernersville, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC), 50-28 in Tuesday's league test.

The Falcons (15-3) will now prepare for their test against Bethany (Summerfield, NC). The Wolves go into the 1A Conference 32 test with a 6-14 record. In their last test, Bethany was trounced by Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC), 70-20, in a league test.

The Cardinals now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Carver for a 1A Conference 32 test on Friday, January 27. Cornerstone Charter will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 44-15 league loss to Winston-Salem Prep (Winston-Salem, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-13.
