Utah High School Basketball - Uintah trounced by Cottonwood

The Cottonwood Colts routed the visiting Uintah Utes basketball team by a final score of 62-35 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Colts face the Cedar Valley Aviators (Eagle Mountain, UT) in a 5A Region 7 game, on Thursday, January 26. Cottonwood will attempt to move on its 12-4 season record. The Aviators enter the game with a 6-8 record after their 56-21 league win over Hillcrest (Midvale, UT).

With the defeat, Uintah moves to 8-4 on the year. The Utes travel to Tooele (Tooele, UT) to face the Buffaloes in a 5A Region 7 game on Thursday, January 26. The Buffaloes enter the game with a record of 3-11. Tooele lost 41-33 in their recent non-league game against Salt Lake Academy (Herriman, UT)
