The Grundy Golden Wave (Grundy, VA) basketball crushed the host Council Cobras (Council, VA), 60-28 in Tuesday's league test.
The Golden Wave (6-11) will now prepare for their test against Tazewell (Tazewell, VA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, Tazewell walloped Graham (Bluefield, VA), 54-43, in a league test.
The Cobras now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Twin Valley for a Black Diamond test on Thursday, January 26. Council will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 77-27 league win over Hurley (Hurley, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 11-5.
