Crestwood Knights (Sumter, SC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lake City Panthers (Lake City, SC), 54-14 in a league bout.

With the win, Crestwood upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Knights travel to Marlboro County (Bennettsville, SC) to clash with the Bulldogs in a AAA Region 6 bout on Friday, January 27. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 11-8. Marlboro County lost 67-52 in their recent league bout against Darlington (Darlington, SC)

Next up, the Panthers confront the Lakewood Gators (Sumter, SC) in a AAA Region 6 challenge, on Friday, January 27. Lake City will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Gators come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 75-16 league loss to Camden (Camden, SC).
