Kentucky High School Basketball - Russell County knocked off by Cumberland County

The Cumberland County Panthers basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Russell County Lakers to 43 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berea for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 26. Cumberland County will battle a Pirates team coming off a 30-25 non-league loss to Owen County (Owenton, KY). The Pirates record now stands at 8-6.
The Lakers (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Casey County (Liberty, KY). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 3-12 record.
