In Tuesday's league outing, the Van Vleck Leopards (Van Vleck, TX) basketball squad beat the visiting Danbury Panthers (Danbury, TX), by a margin of 54-39.

The Leopards (11-15) will now prepare for their outing against Hempstead (Hempstead, TX). The Bobcats go into the 3A Region III District 24 outing with a 3-13 record. In their last outing, Hempstead was topped by East Bernard (East Bernard, TX), 67-33, in a league outing.

The Panthers now own a 4-21 record. They play next when they travel to Brazos for a 3A Region III District 24 outing on Friday, January 27. Danbury will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 74-27 league loss to Boling (Boling, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 6-13.
