Pine View Panthers (St. George, UT) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Desert Hills Thunder (St. George, UT), 53-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Pine View upgrades its record to 6-11 on the campaign. The Panthers host Snow Canyon (St. George, UT) to play the Warriors in a 4A Region 10 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 12-5. Snow Canyon won 72-38 in their recent league bout against Crimson Cliffs (Washington, UT)

Next up, the Thunder play the Cedar Reds (Cedar City, UT) in a 4A Region 10 bout, on Thursday, January 26. Desert Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Reds come into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 38-33 league loss to Hurricane (Hurricane, UT).
