Maine High School Basketball - Penquis Valley ripped by Dexter

The Dexter Tigers basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Penquis Valley Patriots to 24 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to George Stevens Academy for a C North contest on Saturday, January 28. Dexter will meet a Eagles team coming off a 30-26 league loss to Searsport (Searsport, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 5-9.
The Patriots (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Central (East Corinth, ME). The Red Devils enter the C North contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Central triumphed over Piscataquis (Guilford, ME), 70-35, in a league contest.
