Edgewood Lions (West Covina, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Ganesha Giants (Pomona, CA), 51-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Edgewood upgrades its record to 17-5 on the season. The Lions host Garey (Pomona, CA) to play the Vikings in a Miramonte bout on Thursday, January 26. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 19-4. Garey won 60-9 in their recent league bout against Pomona (Pomona, CA)

Next up, the Giants play the La Puente Warriors (La Puente, CA) in a Miramonte bout, on Thursday, January 26. Ganesha will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record.
