California High School Basketball - Edison holds off Justin Garza

January 24, 2023: Fresno, CA 93706

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Edison Tigers (Fresno, CA) and the visiting Justin Garza Guardians (Fresno, CA), saw Edison's basketball squad hold off Justin Garza by a tally of 43-36.

With the victory, Edison improves its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to San Joaquin Memorial (Fresno, CA) to confront the Panthers in a County/Metro challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 12-8. San Joaquin Memorial won 68-19 in their recent league challenge against Bullard (Fresno, CA)

Next up, the Guardians confront the Madera Coyotes (Madera, CA) in a County/Metro test, on Friday, January 27. Justin Garza will attempt to advance on its 8-13 season record. The Coyotes go into the test with a 12-11 record after their 56-37 league loss to Sanger (Sanger, CA).
