The Yorba Linda Mustangs (Yorba Linda, CA) basketball crushed the visiting El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA), 53-30 in Tuesday's league test.

The Mustangs (14-7) will now prepare for their test against Villa Park (Villa Park, CA). The Spartans go into the North Hills test with a 14-11 record. In their last test, Villa Park walloped Canyon (Anaheim, CA), 50-34, in a league test.

The Vanguards now own a 13-12 record. They play next when they travel to Brea Olinda for a non-league test on Friday, January 27. El Modena will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 43-41 league win over El Dorado (Placentia, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 19-5.
