The Epiphany Falcons basketball team (New Bern, NC), was overwhelmed 67-17 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Wayne Country Day Chargers (Goldsboro, NC)
The Chargers now possess a 19-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wayne Christian for a NCISAA Coastal Plain battle on Friday, January 27. Wayne Country Day will confront a Eagles team coming off a 45-39 league loss to Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 8-7.
The Falcons (7-11) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty Christian Academy (Richlands, NC). The Heat come into the non-league battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Liberty Christian Academy was overwhelmed by John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC), 58-5, in a non-league battle.
