Fairfield Christian Academy Knights (Lancaster, OH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Grove City Christian Eagles (Grove City, OH), 41-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, Fairfield Christian Academy upgrades its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Shekinah Christian (Plain City, OH) to play the Flames in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 26. The Flames come into the bout with a record of 4-11. Shekinah Christian lost 53-12 in their recent league bout against Tree of Life Christian (Columbus, OH)

Next up, the Eagles play the Berne Union Rockets (Sugar Grove, OH) in a Mid-State - Cardinal bout, on Saturday, January 28. Grove City Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Rockets come into the bout with a 19-0 record after their 37-32 league win over Fisher Catholic (Lancaster, OH).
