Temple Christian Crusaders (Mansfield, OH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting First Baptist Christian Sabres (Elyria, OH), 50-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Temple Christian upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to HEARTS for Jesus Christ (North Olmsted, OH) to play the Guardians in a non-league bout on Monday, January 30. The Guardians come into the bout with a record of 7-3.

Next up, the Sabres play the Medina Christian Academy Knights (Medina, OH) in a Lake Effect bout, on Friday, January 27. First Baptist Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 66-7 league win over Lake Ridge Academy (North Ridgeville, OH).
