Texas High School Basketball - Forney ripped by Red Oak

The Red Oak Hawks basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Forney Jackrabbits to 38 in the Hawks league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hawks now sport a 16-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lancaster for a 5A Region II District 14 contest on Friday, January 27. Red Oak will battle a Tigers team coming off a 53-44 league loss to Crandall (Crandall, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 7-13.
The Jackrabbits (13-18) will now prepare for their contest against Ennis (Ennis, TX). The Lions enter the 5A Region II District 14 contest with a 4-24 record. In their last contest, Ennis was routed by Corsicana (Corsicana, TX), 44-43, in a league contest.
