In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Hinsdale Central Red Devils basketball team scored a good 45-35 triumph over the Proviso West Panthers.
In their next game, the Red Devils meet the Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, January 25. Hinsdale Central will attempt to better on its 8-15 season record. The Hornets enter the match with a 15-11 record after their 62-49 non-league loss to Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL).
With the defeat, Proviso West moves to 3-16 on the year. The Panthers host Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL) to meet the Hilltoppers in a West Suburban - Silver match on Friday, January 27. The Hilltoppers enter the match with a record of 16-9. Glenbard West won 65-30 in their recent non-league match against Metea Valley (Aurora, IL)
