Mountain View Eagles (Kingsley, PA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Holy Cross Crusaders (Dunmore, PA), 49-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mountain View upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Elk Lake (Dimock, PA) to clash with the Warriors in a Lackawanna 4 bout on Thursday, January 26. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 4-5.

Next up, the Crusaders clash with the Old Forge Blue Devils (Old Forge, PA) in a Lackawanna 3 bout, on Thursday, January 26. Holy Cross will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 43-34 league loss to Mid Valley (Throop, PA).
