Alabama High School Basketball - Jackson-Olin ripped by Homewood

The Homewood Patriots basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Jackson-Olin Mustangs to 18 in the Patriots league triumph on Tuesday.
The Patriots now sport a 20-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Parker for a 6A Area 9 contest on Friday, January 27. Homewood will battle a Thundering Herd team coming off a 46-11 league win over Jackson-Olin (Birmingham, AL). The Thundering Herd record now stands at 17-4.
The Mustangs (0-10) will now prepare for their contest against Minor (Adamsville, AL). The Tigers enter the 6A Area 9 contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Minor triumphed over Homewood (Homewood, AL), 53-52, in a league contest.
