Horn Jaguars (Mesquite, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mesquite Skeeters (Mesquite, TX), 55-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Horn upgrades its record to 15-14 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Tyler Legacy (Tyler, TX) to play the Raiders in a 6A Region II District 10 bout on Friday, January 27. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 16-10. Tyler Legacy won 48-34 in their recent league bout against Rockwall-Heath (Rockwall, TX)

Next up, the Skeeters play the Royse City Bulldogs (Royse City, TX) in a 6A Region II District 10 bout, on Friday, January 27. Mesquite will attempt to upgrade on its 18-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 20-10 record after their 54-45 league win over Rockwall (Rockwall, TX).
